Regional Sales Manager Permanent, Full-time Hybrid working – Field based with 1-2 days per week travel across North West England and Midlands region £50,000-£55,000 basic plus OTE (£60,000-£65,000) and car allowance (£4,800)

About the role
In this role, you’ll support key businesses across the North West and Midlands region within our network, to achieve and sustain excellent sales performance. Working closely with their leadership teams, you’ll develop excellent relationships with business owners, leaders and key stakeholders to influence and manage overall performance, alongside colleagues across Learning & Development and Training & Competency. You’ll use data, reports and insights to inform great commercial decisions and ultimately support driving growth through sales and marketing activity alongside managing risks and compliance across the Adviser population.
Key responsibilities
Own the relationship with your regional accounts, supporting the business owners and managing all escalations arising from their day-to-day management.
Work with our internal recruitment team, ensuring all adviser vacancies are filled within the required timescale and meet the quality standards set.
Take responsibility for expansion within accounts, working closely with business owners.
Present monthly results against target, trends, and actions, in all targeted areas to the National Sales Director and CEO when required.
Manage effective communication within your accounts, ensuring all key messages and initiatives are delivered, received, understood, and acted upon.
Ensure accurate and consistent communication is maintained internally by working closely with all departments and the senior team.
Develop and maintain a protection culture within AR accounts.
Own the protection strategy with accounts and business owners.
Ensure all sales campaigns are embraced and target results are achieved by effective planning and co-ordination.
Ensure knowledge of the entire MAB proposition is maintained to the standards required e.g. product knowledge, MAB Marketing, MIDAS pro, recruitment, mortgage lending, competitors.
Contribute to development of MAB’s proposition through your own input and ideas as well as feedback from advisers and business owners.
About You
Experience in driving Sales performance in a B2B environment
Proven in-depth knowledge of mortgage advice and products in the market across mortgages and protection
Experience in working closely with business Leaders and support Advisers, providing quality advice and guidance to drive a high-performance culture
Experience collaborating with Compliance and Training colleagues, across teams and various stakeholder levels
Strong Leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
An ability to influence and motivate others
Effective written & oral communication skills

Who we disclose personal data to
We may share personal data with recruitment consultants we may engage with as part of the recruitment process to discuss your suitability.

Sharing of personal data outside of the United Kingdom
Some of our external suppliers are based overseas so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside of the UK. In such cases data is transferred under conditions to provide protection to personal data equivalent to UK Data Protection standards. This includes the use of standard contractual clauses in contracts with external suppliers in order to provide the same level of protection for personal data as it has in the UK.
How long is your personal data retained?
If successful in your application, your data will be retained for the duration of your employment plus a further 7 years (full details will be provided in the Staff Privacy Notice during your induction). Data for unsuccessful candidates is normally retained for up to 2 years from the date of application. Similarly, data for those registered to use our recruitment portal is normally deleted after two years of inactivity.
After these retention periods if there is no other on-going client relationship your personal data will either be securely deleted or anonymised so that it can be used for statistical purposes but without any method of identifying you individually.
