We are looking to recruit a Data Lead to join our Scottish Prison Education operations team. The recruitment of this exciting opportunity will see the successful post holder become a key, influential colleague in the prison education division, directly supporting the Director of Operations and the Operational and Quality team in driving performance to meet all contractual targets and service levels. The Data Lead will collate and analyse data, presenting clear, rich reports to the management team and the Scottish Prison Service.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Detailed understanding of the contractual requirements and required performance metrics and ensure appropriate managers are fully briefed and trained.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to highlight risks to performance and inform immediate and continuous improvement measures, monitoring progress within the monthly, quarterly reporting cycle of the contract.
  • Engage with the head of quality to provide data reports as required.
  • Provide all data required for establishment reports and quarterly reviews as required by Operations Managers.
  • Work collaboratively with the recruiting managers to ensure the risk of class closures is minimal and management planning for cover is robust.
  • Populate dashboards for all contractual targets and quality measures.
  • Work with the central compliance and audit team to ensure annual site contract audits are carried within the agreed standard and escalated and recorded appropriately.
