Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans are looking for a motivated and dynamic Coordinator to join our Sight Loss Council Scotland team to support accessible and transformational change to people living with visual impairment in Scotland.

This is a new role within the team to support the Engagement Manager (EM) in Scotland. It’s an exciting role which will be working on establishing a third Sight Loss Council (SLC) in the region, whilst supporting with running two active SLC’s.  This will include testing out new ways of working with the SLC volunteers, developing new models of practice and establishing clear roles and responsibilities between the EM and the Coordinator posts.

This role will give you an opportunity to be on the ground in making change for people with visual impairments in Scotland with an opportunity to learn and develop project management skills, event delivery, volunteer management and insight into research and consultation.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with volunteers with a visual impairment or additional needs. They will have proven experience of developing and delivering social action projects and have supported with planning and delivering events. The ability to work collaboratively with other organisations to achieve their goals is key.

Interviews will take place on 12th June 2025 at our offices in Edinburgh.
