We are recruiting for the role of Senior HR Projects Officer on a fixed-term contract until May 2026.

This is a national role and therefore office location is flexible. As a HR/OD team we work predominantly remotely, however this role will have a required element of travel to various offices dependant on business and project needs.

We trust and empower colleagues to work in a hybrid way, providing the resources, equipment and support, so that individually and collectively, we can be the voice of children and young people when the family court makes critical decisions about their futures. We provide extensive wellbeing support for colleagues, as well as excellent benefits, all of which we hope encourages you to join us.

We are a diverse, inclusive organisation that is a safe space for colleagues with shared aspects of identity and lived experience, which helps ensure we provide a service which promotes the diversity and uniqueness of children and families from all backgrounds. We especially welcome applications from people from diverse backgrounds as we strive to ensure our workforce reflects the diversity of the children and families we work with.

Let us tell you a bit more about the role…

As already mentioned, we’re initially recruiting to this role on a fixed-term contract until May 2026 but, if successful it may be that you could apply for other opportunities to remain part of our team for longer.

In this role you will work closely with the Chief People Officer, HR Manager, Senior OD Business Partner for Leadership and Management Development and wider OD colleague to support and grow our HR strategy. You'll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to further develop our strategic approach to organisational development and learning.

The role will involve leading and working on several projects such as diversity & inclusion, bespoke leadership and management development, learning & development, PLR’s, staff engagement, policy innovation, talent management and workforce development. You will scope, plan, and deliver projects, working with senior stakeholders and specialists to ensure successful outcomes as well as facilitate Management Development training modules. Additionally, you may assist with supplier management and budget monitoring.

… and what we’re looking for

  • CIPD qualified (or other equivalent and relevant) at Level 3 or higher.
  • Demonstrable, relevant experience in a similar role as given this is a fixed-term contract, it will be essential to draw on this experience.
  • Creative, capable and confident delivering key HR/OD messages or learning across the organisation
  • Ability to challenge decisions and provide rational, reasonable solutions across OD projects and policy areas.
  • Responsive to HR customers, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, and building strong professional relationships.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects with measurable impact.
  • Solid understanding of frameworks for employee reward, staff engagement, learning and leadership development, and workplace culture.
  • Effective in using complex data to solve problems, shape business needs and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Highly effective communication skills, with credibility and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training and workforce development across the organisation, at management, team and individual level as required.

You can find out more about the above - and much more - before you apply and we also recommend you read the job description.

This framework encourages us to be pro-active and to look for the strengths in ourselves and others. It also enables us to build positive relationships with our colleagues, our partners and most importantly, with the children and families with whom we work.

We look forward to telling helping you learn more about Together should you join us.

We know if you join us you want to be rewarded in a variety of ways, including time away from work to spend time with those important to you, manage your financial present and future, whilst also be trusted to manage your work/life balance.
