The Opportunity

Are you passionate about coaching, driven by customer satisfaction, and looking to make a real impact in people’s lives? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Pre-Need Coach to join our team and help deliver high-quality coaching and training to support the growth of our funeral plan services.


About the Role

As a Pre-Need Coach, you will play a key role in enhancing our funeral planning services by delivering engaging, impactful training across the organisation. Your focus will be to drive product knowledge, elevate customer service standards, and support continuous personal development across our network.

Working closely with branches and leadership, you will ensure that our teams are not only equipped with up-to-date product knowledge but also inspired to become ambassadors of the Choice and FPL brands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-person and online coaching on funeral plan products and services.
  • Support branches in achieving sales targets and outstanding customer service scores.
  • Develop and maintain coaching materials and training strategies.
  • Liaise with Managers to assess training needs and create tailored development plans.
  • Promote and represent the Choice and FPL brands at conferences, events, and within local communities.
  • Maintain accurate coaching records and measure training outcomes against key performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and support teams in maintaining high professional standards.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in coaching, training, or development roles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Based within the West Midlands Area, you must have the ability to work independently and travel regularly (Full UK driving license required).
  • High literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail.
  • A passion for helping others grow and succeed.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in the funeral industry or a similar customer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of FCA principles and compliance within a regulated environment.
