The Vacancy
This role is responsible for the design and delivery of product & commercial innovation projects for Clearblue Fertility Pillar. The role covers innovation development from concept all the way to delivering the product to the markets. The job holder manages the product development process together with R&D and Supply Chain, and designs the holistic communication toolkits, under the guidance of the Marketing Director.
Main Responsibilities
1. Marketing Lead for Product Innovation Projects:
Consumer champion: use and build category knowledge and consumer understanding (including consumer/market research, business results, and financial/economic considerations) to shape key strategic choices across the business. Make recommendations to the Marketing Director.
Manage the end-to-end product development process for new ovulation tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, engineering, and marketing under the supervision of the Marketing Director
Create superior consumer communication toolkits, including digital marketing, social media, and educational resources for consumers.
Create superior retailer toolkits, including competitive concept sells and in-store materials
2. Marketing Lead for our Consumer App Innovations:
Act as the marketing lead for the period cycle tracker app, developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Develop the App Innovation Roadmap together with the Digital Product Manager and Digital Product Owners. Help them prioritize new features and improvements.
Create and manage go-to-market plans for future app releases launches, including marketing campaigns, promotional strategies, and distribution channels.
3. Business In-Market Performance Reviews:
Assess and improve the impact of our innovations on the business results. Lead the In-Market Performance Reviews together with your regional marketing & sales teams and present business results and recommendations to the CEO.
4. App Data, Insights & Value Extraction:
Oversee the analytics strategy for the period cycle tracker app, utilizing data to drive product improvements, user engagement, and retention.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure app performance and user satisfaction and analyze data to provide actionable insights for product enhancement.
Collaborate with data analysts and technical teams to ensure robust data collection, reporting, and analysis processes are in place.
5. Ensure all work meets Quality & Regulatory Standards, has obtained legal, Regulatory and External Affairs approval.
Take on additional roles/functions outside of their immediate responsibilities as required.
Person Specification
Relevant university degree or equivalent.
Relevant and extensive marketing experience in an international business environment and preferably in a regulated environments (i.e. Pharma, MedTech, ...).
Basic knowledge of human biology and willingness to learn.
Advanced knowledge of building brand campaigns, designing and delivering new product innovations, marketing planning and budgeting.
Team Player, able to work cross-functionally and to mobilise both, technical and commercial teams to deliver our vision and plans.
Take ownership and accountability for delivering results, good problem-solving skills.
Is agile, curious to test and learn.
Able to work independently and get things done efficiently & effectively.
Have good organisational and communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Some occasional business travels must be acceptable.
