In our Retrofit Administrator role, you’ll be playing a pivotal role in administering systems and records related to the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (WH:SHF) project and activities aimed at improving the energy efficiency of our customer’s homes, acting as the administrative support for the decarbonisation team and point of contact.

 

Location: Hybrid, with a weekly presence in either our Rushden, Peterborough, Boston or Milton Keynes office
Salary: Up to £26,700 per year

Contract: Permanent

Your week: 36.25 hours p/week (9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday, with 1-hour lunch)

 

Snapshot of your role

This is what your day will look like as our Retrofit Administrator:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the planning, coordination, and delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation projects.
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting on WH:SHF delivery and progress, liaising with contractors to ensure data and handover documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with our contractors to maintain regular updates on programme delivery and inform monthly reports to Department of Energy Security and Net Zero.
  • Maintain and update systems and records relating to the project, including raising orders, uploading documents and sharing information with various teams within Amplius when required.
  • Support the Decarbonisation team with customer engagement and responding to enquiries.

 

Your toolkit for success

To thrive in our Retrofit Administrator role, you’ll need:

  • Experience in administration roles, ideally within construction, housing, or retrofit sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
