We’re looking for a dynamic Stock & Inventory Controller to join our team in Tewkesbury. This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own!

As well as delivering an exceptional standard of service to customers, you’ll be responsible ensuring stock levels are maintained effectively and raising stock replenishment orders.

We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.

As Material Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained effectively, raising stock replenishment orders and working with network representatives to support them with providing excellent customer service. Material Controllers will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders including Suppliers, Product Management, Purchasing, Finance and the Warehouse teams and functions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the stock depth is optimised
  • Work proactively with customer facing team to ensure that product demand is understood and met
  • Demand exception management
  • Monitor non-moving and slow-moving stock recommending actions to key stakeholders
  • Working on the company’s planning and forecasting system, setting up system parameters for optimised replenishment
  • Regularly validate lead times for all suppliers
  • Maintain an up-to-date incoming order book and follow up discrepancies with suppliers
  • Deliver high availability for the range under management
