Due to continued business growth, we have a great opportunity for a talented Building Surveyor to join our team in Oxford, Woodstock.
We have a depth and breadth of experience, expertise, and local knowledge to support our clients at every stage of property investment, ownership, and occupation from acquisition to disposal. The role provides an opportunity to be part of an ambitious team who continue to grow in line with the company growth strategy.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of building surveyors covering all aspects of professional and project related building surveying across a wide range of sectors including educational, commercial, industrial etc.Â

The role will cover the full spectrum of building surveying services including (but not limited to) design and specification, clerk of works, contract administration surveys and dilapidations.Â
What you need to do to be effective in this role
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
As a Building Surveyor at Ridge and Partners you will need to demonstrate the desire, drive and a real enthusiasm to becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor which will be fully supported by the company (the national Ridge APC support process) and the local Building Surveying Team.
You will need to be personable, presentable and have good communication skills in this client facing role. An ability to produce your own documentation based on our standards is essential, as is an ability to organise, manage your time efficiently in the delivery of the services for multiple projects at any one time.
Security Clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment may be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance, Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV). If this is required, it will be discussed with you at the interview. The vetting process may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK for 5 Years or longer.
