You’ll work with apprentices in the workplace and at college, guiding them through their training and helping them achieve recognised qualifications that set them up for long-term success.

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (ideally gained through an apprenticeship)
  • Recent industry experience in electrical installation
  • A recognised Assessor or Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • 18th Edition (BS7671) and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (for site visits)
  • Confidence in working with learners and employers, and a genuine interest in developing others

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality training in both workshop and classroom settings
  • Carry out workplace assessments and support apprentices on-site
  • Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback and reviews
  • Support learners with functional skills and any additional learning needs
  • Conduct health and safety checks in employer settings
  • Help develop and update training materials and schemes of work
  • Build strong relationships with employers to support apprentice success
  • Promote progression opportunities and celebrate learner achievements
  • Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and quality standards are met

Why Join DN College Group?

  • Generous holiday entitlement – 30 days + 2 weeks at Christmas + bank holidays

  • Ongoing professional development and support to gain teaching qualifications
  • A stable, rewarding career where you can make a real difference

If you're ready to step off the tools and into a role where your experience can inspire others, we’d love to hear from you.
