We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing and Heating Technician to become an integral part of our maintenance team at Ardingly College.

About the Role:

As our Plumbing and Heating Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our plumbing and heating systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining heating, plumbing, and associated systems.
  • Ensuring all systems comply with safety regulations and standards.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a self-motivated and collaborative individual who can work effectively with colleagues across various departments. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
  • Possess a valid full driving licence.
  • Have experience with domestic and commercial heating systems.
  • Be knowledgeable about building regulations related to plumbing.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently on technical tasks.

Hours of Work:

  • Standard Hours: 42.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday.
  • Flexibility: Some weekend work and occasional out-of-hours emergency and event support may be required.
