This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive Portfolio Executive to cover areas across South Wales, acting as the primary point of contact for underperforming investments and helping to maximise the returns on these investments. A strong communicator, you will develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, as well as both internal and external stakeholders to diagnose the causes of underperformance and identify and implement turnaround plans. You will ensure a comprehensive understanding of the underperforming investments, making sure that clients are kept informed of the circumstances and develop strategies to turnaround the investment or provide exit strategies. With a meticulous approach, you will maintain accurate records for all relevant activities and attend regular meetings to promote the successful recovery of the investments.  

We’re looking for a driven individual who thrives under pressure and can work to tight deadlines. Confident and influential, you will feel at ease building strong relationships with clients and acting as an ambassador for Development Bank of Wales. With experience of working in a financial or similar numerate environment, you’ll have an awareness of analysing financial information and demonstrate a robust working knowledge of the law relating to Finance activity and practice. As you will be expected to travel across your territory, a full UK driving licence is a prerequisite.
