Location: St Luke's Donation Centre
Are you organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about great customer service? Join our E-Commerce team at St Luke’s Hospice and help turn donated goods into vital funds for local end-of-life care. This is a hands-on role where every listing, package, and customer reply helps make a real difference.
About the role
As our E-Commerce Assistant, you’ll help manage the day-to-day running of our online retail operation, from photographing and listing donated items to ensuring smooth dispatch and excellent service. You’ll play a key role in presenting our products well and delivering the high standards our customers expect.
Your Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality listings: photograph, describe and upload donated goods to our online platforms.
Assist with stock flow, ensuring Gift Aid items are tracked and inventory is rotated efficiently.
Pick, pack and post items with care and speed to ensure prompt delivery and happy customers.
Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe for staff and volunteers.
Support and guide volunteers, helping them gain skills and contribute meaningfully.
Stand in for management team members where needed (e.g. opening/closing the office).
Support promotional campaigns and represent the values of St Luke’s in every customer interaction.
What You’ll Need
Strong attention to detail and a flair for presenting items online.
Confidence with digital platforms and photo tools.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A customer-first mindset and excellent communication skills.
Willingness to support volunteers and be a positive team player.
Previous experience in retail, e-commerce or charity shops is helpful – but not essential.
