The role is office based in Victoria and / or Paddington but requires travel across the borough of Westminster.
Westminster Community Homes is a housing association set up by Westminster City Council. We own over 500 properties within Westminster, and we work closely with the City Council to deliver its housing objectives. We are a small team of seven, so our workload is very varied, and we operate with a team ethos.
We have an opportunity for a Housing Operations Officer to join the team and effectively manage our portfolio of properties. This is a varied role where you will get involved with rent accounts, tenancy signups, managing rent increases and general enquiries. This role also involves ensuring we are managing our portfolio based on contractual agreements as well as timely invoicing.
As a small team, you will be called upon to support with voids and repairs during times of team holidays and absence.
With good general social housing experience, administration and communication skills you will be highly organised and have a meticulous approach to work, ensuring all records are accurately filed and kept up to date. You’ll have experience of working in an office environment and have good IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. You’ll be customer-focused with the ability to build working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and be adaptable to any changes in the work priorities.
