Can you help make a real difference to our homes and communities?

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Sustainability (Assets & Energy) to help shape and deliver our long-term sustainability goals, ensuring they align with regulatory expectations, stakeholder needs and customer values.

As one of two Heads of Service within the senior Sustainability leadership team, you will play a vital role in helping to improve the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings of our homes, tackle fuel poverty and support our journey to net zero.

You’ll have a particular focus on planning and reporting on energy efficiency upgrades and decarbonisation initiatives across Platform’s housing stock. This includes developing and delivering retrofit strategies that reflect our sustainability goals and meet all relevant regulatory standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing retrofit programmes in social housing or a related field
  • Deep understanding of PAS2035/2030, EPCs and energy efficiency technologies
  • Familiarity in grant funding applications
  • A track record in delivering and reporting on grant funded schemes such as Warm homes Social Housing Fund
  • Familiarity with heat network systems and knowledge of Heat Networks Regulations

While this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to our Group offices and other locations as needed, approximately once/twice a month. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park in Solihull and Central Park in Worcester.
