The Vacancy
About You
We are looking for a Planning Coordinator to bring structure, insight, and efficiency to our Development team. If you thrive on solving problems, love working with data, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, this is your chance to make a real impact on how we deliver projects - from land acquisition all the way through to construction.
You are someone who sees the big picture but never misses the details. You are highly organised, analytically minded, and confident working with data. You know how to maintain project schedules, juggle priorities, and communicate effectively across teams. You do not wait to be told what needs doing - you spot what is needed and take initiative.
You will bring a solid foundation of experience in administrative or coordination roles, with a particular strength in managing schedules and keeping projects on track. Comfortable working with data and confident using Microsoft 365 tools - especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint - you know how to keep information flowing and stakeholders informed.
You are at ease taking accurate meeting notes and supporting senior leaders, and you thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly. If you have experience in workforce or resource scheduling - particularly within construction or development – that is a real bonus, as is a working understanding of the project lifecycle from land to build. Most importantly, you bring a collaborative spirit, proactive energy, and a “let’s get it done” attitude.
We will give you:
Financial:
Competitive salary + discretionary annual bonus scheme
Company pension scheme
Life Assurance
Professional Subscriptions paid for
Lifestyle/Health & Wellbeing:

Health benefits such as Remote GP, 24/7 access to EAP Services (including counsellors and legal advisors) and eyecare voucher
Colleagues Benefit Booklet with a range of store offers discounts and promotions
Family Friendly Policies
Excellent development opportunities
What You Will Do:
Working closely with the Central Support Manager, you will take ownership of how resources are planned and allocated across our development sites. Your role is essential in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time to keep projects moving forward.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Tracking Workload & Project Timelines – Maintain and monitor project schedules, from early land stages through to build, to ensure visibility of future resource demand.
Supporting Strategic Resource Allocation – Update and maintain workforce planning schedules, and recommend resourcing adjustments based on timelines, geography, and capacity.
Data-Driven Decision Making – Collect and analyse resource and project data, producing clear reports and recommendations for management.
Collaborating Across Teams – Liaise with Development, Construction, and Commercial teams to understand project requirements and raise resourcing issues as needed.
Continuous Improvement – Help develop planning tools and processes to make resource management more efficient and effective.
General Coordination Support – When time allows, provide essential administrative and coordination support across the wider team, including minute-taking, document handling, and reporting.
Your Attributes
Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or scheduling role
Strong analytical skills and experience working with data
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools – especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
Confidence in taking accurate meeting notes and supporting senior teams
A proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge of project or resource scheduling (experience in construction or property development is a plus)
