Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 – 15:30

This role will help us to do this by providing a professional labouring service that delivers an excellent customer experience. Adhering to health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures, providing a fantastic repairs service and making sure our homes are well maintained for customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out all aspects of labouring works on our customers' homes

Assist trades teams in all duties of repairs to customers' homes

Deliver an excellent customer service

Leave customers' homes clean and safe and dispose of waste in line with company policy

Report any potential repairs that you notice in customers' homes

Order parts, materials and follow up work as required

Carry out safety checks on tools, plant and equipment

We need people who have:

Sound building and construction knowledge

Experience of undertaking / assisting with repair work and associated multitasking activities inside and externally on customer’s homes

Experience of undertaking general labouring duties, roofing experience desirable however not essential as full training will be provided.

General building maintenance repair knowledge

Full valid driving licence

PASMA / IPAF / TETRA qualifications are desirable

CSCS Card also desirable

The team

Our Homes Team make sure customers' homes are well maintained by carrying out repairs, maintenance, and gas servicing... They are very important people!

In the team, there are multi-trades people, electricians, ground workers, roofers, gas engineers, plumbers, and joiners, plus general labourers and apprentices. There is also a team of planners and administrative colleagues who keep the show on the road by booking in all the work and making sure our trades colleagues have everything they need to get the job done. Together the Homes Team makes up nearly a third of our whole workforce!

Our customer satisfaction rating is consistently rated as ‘excellent’ and our Homes Team gets more compliments than any other team! The Homes Team were winners of the One Team One Dream Award at our colleague awards in 2020 for their commitment and fantastic teamwork.
