Leeds Federated is looking for a dynamic, people-focused Customer Engagement Business Partner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive engagement and using customer insight to shape meaningful service improvements.

As a Customer Engagement Business Partner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that customer voices actively shape the way we deliver services. Working across departments and within communities, you’ll develop inclusive engagement models, coordinate scrutiny activities, and champion customer voice at all levels of the organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers to ensure their voices actively influence how our services are designed and delivered
  • Deliver inclusive engagement and co-design initiatives using multiple channels and formats.
  • Support neighbourhood-based strategies and work closely with the community
  • Lead inclusive and accessible customer panels and involvement opportunities, creating safe spaces for open dialogue and ensuring customer voices drive meaningful service improvements.
  • Promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in all engagement practices.
  • Create engaging content that highlights customer impact across our services
  • Collaborates with colleagues to maximise the performance of assets and ensure tenancy and neighbourhood sustainability 
  • Engage with teams across the organisation to embed customer insight
  • Lead training sessions and awareness campaigns to promote customer engagement and influence
  • Provide reports and insight to inform leadership and board-level decisions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in customer engagement, community involvement, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of EDI principles and inclusive engagement practices
  • Confident facilitating meetings, workshops, and panels both online and in-person.
  • Ability to interpret data and feedback to drive service improvements.
  • Able to work under own initiative and be creative in problem solving
  • A proactive, supportive approach with a passion for delivering results
  • Passionate about promoting equality and championing customer voices.
