We’re currently seeking a passionate and proactive Volunteer Coordinator (Corporates & Events) to lead on the recruitment, engagement, and coordination of event and corporate volunteers.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to combine creativity, relationship-building, and organisational skills in a role that directly supports our fundraising and volunteering efforts.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting a dynamic network of volunteers for fundraising events and corporate volunteering days, working across teams including Fundraising, Retail and Volunteering to ensure a seamless and inspiring experience for all involved. You’ll also help drive recruitment campaigns, strengthen partnerships with corporate supporters, and represent St Luke’s at events across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment, supervision, and retention of corporate and event volunteers.

  • Work closely with Fundraising and Retail teams to manage volunteering for flagship events like the Sheffield Half Marathon, Festival of Light, and more.

  • Plan and deliver inspiring corporate away days in our shops and community venues.

  • Build strong partnerships with local businesses, universities, and community groups.

  • Create engaging communications and promotional materials to recruit and retain volunteers.

  • Represent St Luke’s at community events, volunteer fairs, and corporate meetings.

  • Deliver presentations and information sessions to raise awareness of our volunteering offer.

  • Use social media and digital tools to promote volunteering opportunities and drive engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A people-person with a passion for volunteering and community engagement.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence addressing diverse audiences.

  • Experience in volunteer coordination, community outreach, or fundraising events.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • A flexible and positive attitude – willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
