This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We want you to:

Manage all aspects of employee relations, including advising managers on employee relations cases while ensuring fairness, compliance, and best practices. You will also train line managers on compliance with employment law and best practices to enhance their leadership capabilities. You will manage employment policies and provide data reporting and analysis to support a positive and effective people experience across the organisation.

We’ll need you to be able to:

  • Provide advice and support to managers and colleagues for all people-relations cases, including, but not limited to, investigation, disciplinary, absence management, and grievances from informal to formal.
  • Assist in the preparation of casework documentation and provide support during the meeting
  • Coach and advise managers at all levels in delivery HR related solutions
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are up to date with employment law and create managers’ training material for face-to-face and LMS-based sessions as required.
  • Own the probation process, ensuring the policy, documentation and process are up to date, reviewed regularly and training rolled out to managers
  • Support the HR Business Partner with any large-scale employee relations projects, including restructuring or organisational changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with data protection laws.
  • Lead on special projects and communicate and direct on strategy and implementation.
  • Work and lead on additional adhoc requirements and projects

Experience/knowledge

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in employee relations, with a strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling complex employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification.
