Team Role: 

  • Assisting professionals in the delivery of commissions at all project stages.
  • Assisting with technical and professional reports and associated advice. 
  • After a period of probation and as your confidence grows, begin to operate more autonomously providing strategic advice allied to your professional background.
  • Work towards your professional qualification alongside your practical experience. 

 

Individual duties

(Please note these are generic and there will be some variance)

  • Coordinating detailed design information.
  • Preparation of specifications, obtaining tenders and preparing contract documents.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.
  • Contributing to meetings and document preparation.
  • Contract administration, valuation and certification including chairing meetings with associated document preparation. 
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices. 

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Graduate of Building Surveying 
  • Aspiration and drive to work towards APC
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work under own initiative and within a team setting
  • Willing to travel by car and/or public transport in support of day-to-day work.

 

Knowledge of

  • MS365 and Teams 
  • JCT / NEC Contracts 
  • UK Building Regulations and construction standards
