Youth Engagement and Quality Co-ordinator

Salary: Grade 6 £28,624 to £31,586 per year
Location Church Square House, Scunthorpe
Hours: 37 hours per week
DBS: Yes Enhanced with Barred List Check

We are looking for a dynamic and committed Youth Engagement and Quality Co-ordinator to join our Community Transformation team. This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative youth engagement initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive activities across North Lincolnshire.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Support the development and delivery of North Lincolnshire’s Youth and Positive Activities Offer
•    Lead on youth engagement, quality assurance, and programme support aligned with the Youth Outcomes Framework
•    Manage the Youth Van and a team of casual youth workers, including rota planning and performance reviews
•    Identify gaps in youth provision and collaborate with community partners to strengthen services
•    Promote and support the Duke of Edinburgh Award and other positive activities
•    Provide guidance on behaviour management and safeguarding
•    Build strong partnerships with voluntary and statutory agencies
•    Support the delivery of youth provision, including collecting and managing equipment and resources for sessions

What we are Looking for:
•    Experience working with young people aged 11–18 (up to 25 with SEND)
•    Strong understanding of youth work principles, safeguarding and youth culture
•    Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
•    Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and school holidays
•    Proven experience and knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
•    Willingness to undertake driver training to operate the Youth Van

Desirable:
•    At least 2 years of recent experience in a similar role
