We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice or Assistant Estimator to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in construction estimating. The successful candidate will support the Estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and assist in the preparation of cost estimates for all elements of construction projects
Support the Estimator in ensuring that all design briefs and specifications are accurately reflected in costings
Ensure all costs, including materials and labour, are correctly calculated and documented
Assist in producing detailed tenders and quotations, including both financial and supporting descriptive information
Attend client meetings with senior staff to support the presentation of tenders and build relationships

Training & Development: If you join us as an Apprentice Estimator, you will be enrolled onto the Level 4 Construction Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship in partnership with The Sheffield College. However, we will provide appropriate training and development opportunities tailored to your level of experience and career progression.

Requirements:
A keen interest in the construction industry
To enrol onto the apprenticeship you will be required to have a Level 3 Construction related qualification
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Relevant qualifications or previous experience in a similar role are desirable but not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate
