The Opportunity…

British Shooting and the UK Sports Institute are expanding the sports Performance Support Team (PST) with an exciting opportunity for a part time Psychologist to join the team.  We are looking for a practitioner to join our Rifle and Pistol programme. This role will work alongside a Senior Sport Psychologist within each programme to deliver world-leading psychological support that will help our athletes and staff to perform under pressure.

A snapshot of the role…

You’ll work directly with athletes, coaches, and performance teams to optimise an athlete’s skill, health and performance – helping athletes to improve their ability to perform under pressure. Both roles combine front-line delivery in partnership with coaches at camps and competitions with the opportunity to collaborate across the performance team to influence our approach to culture and mental health support.
