This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We’re flexible about where this role is based, but our team is spread across London, Oxford, and Birmingham, so any of these locations would be ideal.

 

You’ll work closely with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, supporting them throughout the entire recruitment process and ensuring every candidate has an exceptional experience. Your main tasks will include coordinating job advertisements, screening and shortlisting candidates, and arranging interviews. You’ll be the consistent point of contact for candidates, directly influencing how they perceive us as a potential employer.

 

This role is crucial to our business, and you’ll be an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team.

 

What you need to do to be effective in this role

  • Advertise vacancies both internally and externally using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Networx, LinkedIn, and various other platforms.
  • Design and execute attractive, engaging, and effective recruitment campaigns, including mapping and directly sourcing for key roles when needed.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers in screening applications and lead the screening of high-volume applications for specific roles.
  • Arrange interviews, both in person and virtually via our video platforms.
  • Provide proactive and informative candidate management, ensuring candidates are engaged, informed, and have a positive experience with us, regardless of the outcome.
  • Ensure that our Hiring Managers have the tools they need to prepare for, and conduct effective interviews.
  • Assist Hiring Managers in collecting interview notes and providing candidate feedback, ensuring all candidates receive feedback in a fair and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with external partners, including agency partners, inclusion networks, and advertising partners.
  • Support the development of our advertising strategy, providing insights into digital advertising channels, SEO optimization, and upcoming trends.
  • Be a “super user” within our ATS, Networx, improving usability and functionality for our business users.
  • Represent our brand and be a collaborative member of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Provide cover for other members of the Talent Acquisition team when required – for holiday and other leave – ensuring that we maintain a consistent experience for candidates, managers and agency partners.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator to ensure timely issuance of employment offers and the administration of new starters in our systems.
  • Actively participate in and support Talent Acquisition and People team projects and initiatives.

 

The skills and experience you’ll need to be effective in this role

  • A passion for delivering a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience, representing our employer brand with professionalism and care.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment environment is essential, whether in-house or recruitment agency.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing. Ideally, this experience would be within the Built Environment, where you may have a good understanding of skillsets and responsibilities within roles – however, this is not essential.
  • This role is perfect for someone who has previously held a “Resourcer” role and is comfortable working closely with candidates at high volume, across multiple roles.
  • Ability to work at pace and handle high volumes, ensuring consistent support to all Hiring Managers across the business.
  • Understanding the commercial importance of working with tight deadlines and strong processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible when required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently liaise with people at all levels, handling high volumes of phone calls and correspondence with candidates.
  • Understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and how your role supports strategic hiring goals.
  • IT confident, with Microsoft Office packages, as well as bespoke systems – our ATS is provided by Networx, which directly links to IRIS Cascade, our HRIS. Previous experience with this system would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
  • Flexibility to support various areas of the business and to attend different offices and site locations as needed.
