DN Colleges Group is seeking an inspiring and experienced Curriculum Leader – Hair & Beauty to lead our dynamic teams at Doncaster College and North Lindsey College. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone passionate about delivering excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum development across a diverse and growing department.

As Curriculum Leader, you’ll drive innovation, empower staff, and ensure our learners receive an outstanding experience that prepares them for success in the industry.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and managing Hair & Beauty curriculum delivery across both campuses.
  • Coaching and supporting staff to deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Overseeing curriculum design, development, and quality assurance processes.
  • Managing performance against key targets including attendance, retention, and achievement.
  • Building strong relationships with awarding bodies, employers, and industry partners.
  • Embedding English, maths, employability, and work experience into all programmes.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively to maximise student outcomes.
  • Contributing to marketing and recruitment activities to grow the provision.
  • Teaching and acting as a programme as required.

What we’re looking for:

  • A graduate or Level 5 qualification in a relevant sector area.
  • A recognised teaching qualification and experience of delivering high-quality teaching.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hair & Beauty curriculum and apprenticeship frameworks.
  • Demonstratable teaching experience with outstanding results.
  • Experience in curriculum development and quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Current vocational experience and strong employer links in the sector.

Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.  

Let’s Bloom
The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
