Are you passionate about driving environmental change and leading impactful sustainability initiatives? Join us at bpha as our new Sustainability Project Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our decarbonisation strategy and helping us achieve net carbon zero. 

About the Role 

As our Sustainability Project Manager, you will: 

  • Lead bpha’s sustainability programme and decarbonisation roadmap. 

  • Manage environmental improvement projects and WH:SHF Wave 3 delivery. 

  • Champion energy efficiency across our housing stock, ensuring compliance with EPC Band C targets by 2030. 

  • Analyse and model energy data to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Secure funding for carbon reduction initiatives and manage income-generating energy projects. 

  • Act as bpha’s ambassador for sustainability, promoting innovation and best practices. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a costed decarbonisation roadmap with full stakeholder buy-in. 

  • Influence specifications to reduce carbon emissions and improve climate resilience. 

  • Research and apply new technologies to enhance energy performance. 

  • Provide Retrofit Co-ordinator support and ensure PAS2035 compliance. 

 

About You 

We’re looking for someone who is: 

  • A skilled communicator with strong data analysis and report writing abilities. 

  • Experienced in developing and executing sustainability strategies. 

  • Knowledgeable in building regulations, asset management, and energy efficiency technologies. 

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent (e.g. RICS, CIOB), with experience in PAS2035-compliant projects.
