The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our Responsive Repairs team in Bedfordshire. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our operatives are deployed efficiently, customer appointments are met, and service targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule works into diaries for up to 20 operatives daily, ensuring full utilisation and swift allocation of new tasks.
- Monitor emergency requests and allocate them promptly to meet service level agreements.
- Liaise with surveyors to approve variations and ensure continuity of works.
- Arrange inspections and follow-ups for supervisors.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents and clients, both over the phone and face-to-face.
- Achieve daily allocation targets and contribute to team goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in scheduling, planning or logistics—ideally within construction or social housing.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to team working.
