Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

Are you a hands-on technical leader with a passion for building high-quality digital products and inspiring teams to reach their full potential? We're looking for a Lead Developer to drive the technical vision, execution, and delivery of our cutting-edge software solutions.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a small, talented team of developers and QA engineers, shaping the architecture, guiding engineering practices, and championing quality at every stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and delivery teams, ensuring our software is scalable, secure, and built to last.

This isn’t just a leadership role — you’ll stay hands-on, writing production code, reviewing pull requests, and setting a gold standard for clean, modern development in a fast-paced, agile environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead from the front: Guide, support, and mentor a team of developers while remaining actively involved in coding, debugging, and system design.

  • Own the technical vision: Collaborate with architects and product leaders to define a clear, forward-thinking technical roadmap.

  • Engineer for scale: Design and implement cloud-native solutions using .NET 8, AWS/Azure, and modern engineering practices.

  • Champion best practices: Promote continuous integration, test-driven development, secure coding, and event-driven architecture.

  • Grow talent: Foster an environment of learning, mentoring team members and helping shape the next generation of engineering leaders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with UX, QA, Product, and Delivery to ensure features are delivered with impact, quality, and speed.

  • Drive innovation: Stay ahead of trends in cloud, DevOps, and software architecture to keep our products and processes cutting-edge.

  • Communicate effectively: Translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Tech Toolkit

Core Experience:

  • Proven experience leading development teams in agile, product-driven environments

  • Expert in .NET (ideally .NET 8), C#, and building cloud-native applications

  • Skilled in Azure (or AWS), React, SQL, and event-driven architecture

  • Strong background in building highly scalable, secure, and resilient systems

  • Confident working in Continuous Delivery environments with modern DevOps practices

Bonus Points for Experience With:

  • AWS (preferred)

  • Docker & Terraform

  • Azure DevOps

  • Microservices architecture

  • TDD & automated testing frameworks

  • CI/CD pipelines

What You Bring

  • A passion for high-quality engineering and a commitment to craftsmanship

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and influence others

  • Clear communication – able to explain technical decisions to both engineers and business stakeholders

  • A pragmatic approach – focusing on what delivers value while managing risk

  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and contribute to wider technology strategies

  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively, depending on what’s needed
