Neighbourhood Assistant

Salary: £26,114.00 a year

This is a Permanent, Salaried vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Working under the direction of the Neighbourhood Manager you will provide support to the Neighbourhood Team by coordinating performance, including void performance, anti-social behaviour case management support, nomination reporting and supporting the team to let our empty homes.

 

Job requirements

  • Compile accurate performance data and information to support the Neighbourhood Manager and Head of Customer and Neighbourhoods.
  • Act as the main contact for council tax coordination across all local authority areas.
  • Provide advice and assistance to customers, delivering a high standard of customer service and building professional, trust-based relationships.
  • Distribute, collect, and analyse customer satisfaction surveys and feedback for Neighbourhood services.
  • Work with the anti-social Behaviour (ASB) Specialist to ensure cases are allocated to Neighbourhood Officers, monitored appropriately and handled in line with our ASB policy.
  • Make sure internal and external referrals are passed to the right teams and follow our procedures.
  • Help Neighbourhood Officers with inspections, lettings, and tenancy checks to make sure everything is accurate and up to date.


What we’re looking for:

  • A good general level of education with an English and Math’s GCSE or equivalent qualification.
  • Be willing to complete training and professional development when required to do this job well.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Be confident and resilient to be able to manage conflict in a professional manner.
  • Will be able to work flexibly between our Head Office, Villages, and homes.
  • A full UK driving license with use of own vehicle.
  • DBS required.
