Location: Fulwood, Preston 

Contract Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours a week

About the Role

The Quality Analyst is a new role to CHEC, and is responsible for supporting the CHEC's commitment to delivering data-driven and effective care through robust quality governance and performance assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and reporting data that supports clinical governance requirements, patient experience, and regulatory compliance across a region.

We are looking for someone to contribute to the development of internal dashboards, commissioner reports, and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that performance metrics are translated into meaningful actions.

The successful candidate will thrive in a busy, fast-paced working environment. 

 

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Collect, validate, and analyse data related to Clinical governance, patient experience, audits, internal compliance programmes and change management remedial actions to identify changes in trends.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards aligned with national and local standards (e.g., Quarterly Quality Reports) and internal KPIs.
  • Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement through data interrogation and visualisation.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with information governance standards.
  • Support the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual commissioner compliance and quality reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather required data inputs, narrative summaries, and evidence of improvement for inclusion in internal and external assurance reports.
  • Undertake initial analyses of patient feedback and experience data; producing comprehensive, accurate and digestible reports for the broader organisations’ committees.

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Experience in data collection, validation, and analysis within a healthcare or regulatory environment.
  • Experience preparing submissions for inspections, audits, and external reviews.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to quality improvement plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled at using data to produce trend reports for management and governance committees.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
