RSK Ordnance Management (RSK-OM) part of RSK Group, offers services within the bomb disposal and unexploded ordnance (UXO) sector, together with assessments of impacts relating to subsequent and possible ground and environmental contamination risks.

RSK-OM supports RSK businesses and additional clients with services including bomb disposal, UXO and ordnance management, risk assessments, ground investigation, ground contamination remediation and environmental impact mitigation. It also supports and contributes to the vital area of UXO research and investigation, both on land and in marine environments. 

We are now hiring for a Junior Sales / Project Estimator based at our Boxworth Office in Cambridgeshire.

The role is to support the sales and estimating function by promoting our organisation’s services and helping to grow our client base. You will liaise with both internal and external companies. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build a career in project consulting and sales. You will support senior staff, ensuring client satisfaction while gaining hands-on experience in managing quotations and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and deliver quotations to clients within agreed timeframes, while being mindful of potential competitors
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent service at all times
  • Monitor shared mailboxes, actioning where applicable, whilst escalating alternative staff when necessary
  • Track activity and follow up with clients where appropriate
  • Provide administrative support to senior staff

 

Person Specification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • One to two years’ experience as a sales executive or account manager (although not essential, as on-going training will be provided).
  • Experience, or good knowledge within the construction industry, is desirable
  • Demonstrated track record of positive sales performance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to problem-solve
  •  Ability to follow established sales plans and meet management deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail
  •  Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organisational skills and ability to multitask
