What We Offer
💷 Salary: £19,603 rising to £20,014 per year (Full time equivalent £25,304 - £25,835 per year)
🕰️ Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time 32 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+3 weeks per year
(Mon 8.00-15.30, Tues 8.00-15.30, Wed 8.00-15.30, Thurs 8.00-15.30, Fri 8.00-12.00)

What You’ll Do
- Maintain and prepare hospitality & catering facilities used for student training and events (kitchens, dining rooms, cafés).
- Ensure equipment and stock are clean, safe, and ready for use; carry out routine maintenance / basic cleaning / setup tasks.
- Support practical delivery of hospitality and catering courses — preparing working stations, ingredients, materials, and clearing down afterwards.
- Help set up and support college events, functions, open days — liaising with academic staff, being proactive and organised.
- Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times — ensuring compliance with college policies and relevant regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, catering-kitchen or facilities maintenance (ideally in a commercial / educational / catering setting).
- Practical, hands-on approach to work; reliability and ability to prioritise tasks under a rota system.
- Good organisation skills, attention to detail, and awareness of hygiene & safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills — able to work with students, staff and possibly external contractors / suppliers.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt hours/shifts when needed; a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
