The Vacancy
Horbury Property Services Ltd are looking for experienced Multi-Trade Fit Out Operatives to join their team, carrying out internal fit out and refurbishment works across a range of projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and can confidently cover multiple trades.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality internal fit out works, either working independently or as part of a site team, while meeting programme deadlines and maintaining excellent standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out internal fit out and refurbishment works across multiple trades
Work independently or as part of a site team to meet project deadlines
Read and work from drawings, plans, and specifications
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Keep work areas clean, safe, and well organised
Communicate effectively with site management, colleagues, and other trades
Multi-Trade Duties (including but not limited to):
Carpentry and joinery (1st and 2nd fix) - including kitchen installation
Basic plumbing works, including sanitaryware
Flooring installation (vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles)
Wall and floor tiling
Painting and decorating
Minor wall and patch repairs
Door and ironmongery installation

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a multi-trade operative within fit out or refurbishment environments
Competency across several core trades, including carpentry, basic plumbing, flooring, tiling, decorating, and general repairs
NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade or multi-trade discipline
Valid CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness certification, and full UK driving licence
Ability to read and work from drawings, plans, and instructions
Reliable, professional, and punctual with a strong work ethic
Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team
