Account Manager – EU Wholesale (Buyer Engagement)

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our EU Wholesale team, supporting small to medium‑sized automotive dealers across the market. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll combine commercial insight, customer engagement, and platform expertise to help dealers succeed — and grow with us.

If you understand dealership operations, enjoy working closely with customers, and want to influence how they buy, sell, and source vehicles, this role offers both autonomy and scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the primary point of contact for your dealer portfolio, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with automotive dealers
  • Convert qualified leads into active, engaged platform users
  • Monitor customer activity and behaviour to identify growth, retention, and engagement opportunities
  • Advise customers on sourcing the right stock and optimising sales performance
  • Proactively manage retention and reduce churn through tailored support
  • Identify up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities to unlock untapped potential
  • Lead regular (mainly remote) customer meetings to strengthen partnerships
  • Work closely with internal teams such as Logistics, Export, Claims and Marketing
  • Manage customer expectations and resolve issues effectively

You’ll act as both trusted advisor and commercial partner, helping customers maximise value from the platform.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Native-level Dutch and business‑fluent English (C1)
  • 5+ years’ experience as an Account Manager within the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of dealership processes, challenges, and KPIs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyse customer data and turn insights into clear actions
  • High service orientation with a proactive, ownership mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in or closely with car dealerships (e.g. sales, used cars, sales management)
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI
  • A third language (e.g. German)
  • Experience in a fast‑growing or changing corporate environment
