Investment Support Administrator

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to support our Investment and Portfolio teams. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of investment processes, portfolio management activity, and ongoing departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this varied and fast‑paced role, you will:

  • Carry out Customer Due Diligence (CDD) checks at key stages of the investment process, including online ID verification and credit searches.
  • Support investment deal progression, coordinating legal and drawdown documentation and ensuring all required information is in place prior to loan completion.
  • Assist with the handover of new investments to the Portfolio team.
  • Maintain accurate data across Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, SharePoint and Loan Admin System.
  • Respond to customer enquiries throughout the life of a loan.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics including room bookings, agendas, documentation and minute‑taking.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly investor reporting.
  • Support financial processing, including raising purchase orders and handling invoices.
  • Build knowledge of investment and post‑investment processes over time.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as required to support the department’s operational needs.

About You

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Confidence in decision‑making.
  • Motivation to develop expertise in investment processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Limited Partnership fund reporting.
  • Knowledge of the SME business environment.
