About this Role
Are you a Class 1 Driver, HGV Driver, or LGV Driver looking for your next move, or an experienced driver ready for a new challenge? As a Class 1 Driver within our Truck and Trailer Unit, you will play a key role in keeping our rental operation moving, supporting customers and internal teams with safe, efficient vehicle movements.
- Delivering and collecting vehicles between customer sites, branches, and workshops.
- Presenting vehicles for MOT and ensuring they meet compliance standards.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Safely parking and securing equipment in line with company policy.
- Supporting with additional duties such as vehicle cleaning and site support tasks.
About You
You are a dependable and professional driver who takes pride in doing things the right way, with safety and customer service at the forefront. You are comfortable working flexibly, handling a mix of journeys and responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Hold a valid UK LGV or HGV Class 1 licence and Driver Qualification Card.
- Confident completing basic paperwork and following driving regulations.
- Maintain a polite, professional approach when interacting with customers.
- Take responsibility for safety, reporting incidents and following procedures.
