We are looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative, internally knows as Insite Stores Operative to support the smooth day-to-day running of our on-site service, managing PPE and consumables for our customer. This role is key in ensuring all stock locations and vending machines are consistently stocked, maintained and operating efficiently to support uninterrupted production.

You will play an important role in maintaining stock accuracy, availability and service levels across site. A full UK driving licence is essential for occasional use of the company van for collections and site requirements.

Full training will be provided, so if you have experience in stock control, stores, logistics or a similar hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily checks of all locations, cages and stock points, ensuring items are replenished to agreed maximum levels.
  • Maintain and restock vending machines, ensuring availability of critical PPE and consumables at all times.
  • Identify potential shortages, escalating where required.
  • Support stock accuracy through regular cycle counts.
  • Maintain high standards of organisation, housekeeping and safe working practices across all areas.
  • Support occasional collections or deliveries using the company van when required.
  • Work closely with the on-site team and customer to meet daily operational requirements and service expectations

Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (essential), with willingness to use a van occasionally.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock control and replenishment activities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations on site.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Basic IT literacy for stock systems and vending/kanban management (training provided).
  • A positive, hands-on approach with a focus on delivering high service levels to the customer.
