We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team working in 24/7 supported housing projects in Carmarthen.

You will support young people aged 16–24 with complex needs, helping them develop independent living skills, build confidence, and work towards moving into their own accommodation. This role involves practical and emotional support only – no personal care is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people with daily living and independent living skills
  • Provide emotional support and build positive, professional relationships
  • Encourage personal development and positive outcomes
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a safe and supportive environment
  • Follow support plans and contribute to individual progress

About You

  • Previous support work experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Compassionate, patient, and resilient
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available)

Hours & Pay

  • Average of 24 hours per week on a rolling 4-week rota
  • Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Additional payment for sleep-in shifts

Additional Information

  • An Enhanced DBS check (Adult and Child Workforce) is required and will be paid for by the company if required.
