Join Our Team

We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented Administration Co-Ordinator to support the daily operations of our Breeder Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of farm data, coordinating essential breeder activities, managing purchase orders and stock records, and supporting compliance and reporting requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Office Support

  • Process purchase order requisitions and receipting in a timely manner.
  • Assist in resolving invoice queries.
  • Handle telephone enquiries and direct calls to the appropriate managers.
  • Liaise daily with farmers regarding chick delivery schedules.
  • Carry out general administration duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate stationery orders.
  • Prepare meeting rooms and facilities for visitors, training sessions, and conferences.
  • Organise grower meetings and team events when required.

MTech & Data Management

  • Ensure farm data is complete, accurate, and maintained within the MTech system.
  • Process bird transfers and depletion records.
  • Complete all purchase order receipting and stock usage recording.
  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
  • Upload delivery order information and customer sales order exports.
  • Complete weekly and monthly MTech close processes.
  • Investigate and resolve data issues raised by growers and the breeder team.

Sampling & Compliance

  • Coordinate Salmonella, MG, and MS sampling schedules.
  • Report and track all testing activity.
  • Communicate breeder placement details and test results to DAERA.
  • Coordinate inspections and sampling visits with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain ACP documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Compile and maintain KPI reports.
  • Produce weekly and monthly operational and labour performance reports.
  • Maintain vehicle and driver documentation to support Operator Licence compliance.

 

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • GCSE-level education, including Mathematics.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Experience dealing with internal and external customers.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience using MTech or similar agricultural management systems.
  • Knowledge of Protean or SAP invoice processing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and OneDrive.
  • Experience within the agriculture, poultry, or food production sector.
