Do you have a passion for organisation, detail, and supporting projects that make a difference? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our Transformation Team at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG).

About the Role

As Project Support Officer, you’ll provide vital administrative and logistical support across a range of projects. From coordinating activities and maintaining project documentation to supporting stakeholder engagement and monitoring budgets, you’ll help ensure our projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.

This is a varied role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across WCHG
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, logs, and reports
  • Support stakeholder engagement, scheduling meetings, workshops, and events
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing reports and updates
  • Coordinate logistics such as venues, travel, and materials for project activities
  • Facilitate communication by distributing updates and supporting cross-team collaboration
  • Contribute to process improvements, ensuring projects run efficiently and effectively

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in business, project management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience providing project or programme support in a professional environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Confident in producing accurate documentation, reports, and analysis
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com)
  • Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile or PRINCE2 (desirable)
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities
