This is a Temporary, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

In Memory Fundraiser – 22.5 hours per week – Fixed-term contract for 18 months

Starting salary £18,171 per annum (£30,285 FTE), with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding to £20,057 per annum (£33,429 FTE) on a competency based framework.

We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated and empathetic In Memory Fundraiser to help deliver our ambitious targets through engagement with donors supporting Keech in memory of a loved one and raising awareness of the importance of in memory giving. Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase engagement & maximise income from in memory giving
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual supporters
  • Design and manage schedule for in memory fundraising activities
  • Work with wider fundraising and marketing and communications teams to ensure campaigns reflect Keech Hospice values
  • Raise awareness of in memory giving both internally and externally

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience within fundraising or marketing
  • Understanding of those supporting with gifts in memory
  • Ability to deal with sensitive situations
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking with bereaved families
  • Good administrative skills
  • Understanding of charity sector and fundraising regulations
