Working hours – full time (35 hours a week) - you’ll agree your working pattern with your manager (core working hours are 10:00 - 16:00).

Location – Liverpool, hybrid homeworking (minimum 6 days a month in office)

About the role

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team on a permanent basis.

You will act as a trusted finance partner to designated directorates, providing high‑quality financial insight, analysis and challenge to support effective decision‑making and delivery of RCP’s strategic objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with senior managers to support operational planning, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide clear financial insight on performance, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the interpretation and presentation of management accounts and forecasts.
  • Support business cases, financial modelling and commercial decision‑making.
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance advice within your directorates.

About you

You will be a CCAB‑qualified finance professional with strong analytical skills and experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling in a complex organisation. You will be confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and communicating financial information clearly to non‑finance colleagues.
