We’re a charity that supports vulnerable adults, and we’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly team at our 15-bed hostel in South Camden.

The hostel is staffed 24/7 and supports people with high mental health needs.

As a Cleaner, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your work will make a real difference to their dignity and wellbeing.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Cleaning communal areas and bedrooms to a high standard.
  • Following a cleaning schedule to keep the hostel fresh and tidy.
  • Keeping an eye on cleaning supplies and letting the team know when more are needed.
  • Reporting any repairs or issues to the housing team

Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

About You
You don’t need lots of experience — just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. If you’ve used cleaning equipment before or worked in a cleaning role, that’s great.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Proactive and reliable.
  • Able to work safely and follow instructions.
  • A good communicator and team player.
  • Organised and ready to help.

We value life experience just as much as work experience. If you’re ready to take the next step, we’d love to hear from you.

St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all under-represented groups.
