Kwik Tan is entering an exciting new chapter. With ambitious expansion plans and a clear vision for the future, we’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Operations Manager to help shape, lead and deliver the next phase of our growth.

Reporting directly to the Kwik Tan Director, this is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence the direction of the business, translate strategy into action and make a tangible difference across our growing nationwide salon estate.

You’ll lead our team of four Kwik Tan Co-Ordinators (KTCOs), plus our two Support Co-Ordinators, providing the leadership, challenge and support they need to drive outstanding performance through our salons.

What will you be doing?

This is much more than an operational role. You’ll be at the heart of our commercial performance, people development and expansion strategy.

You’ll:

• Turn strategy into results, translating business plans into clear priorities, actions and measurable outcomes across the salon estate.
• Own operational performance and KPIs, using data and insight to identify trends, opportunities and underperformance and take action where needed.
• Lead and develop our four KTCOs, creating a high-performing field leadership team that can deliver through our salon teams.
• Drive commercial growth, identifying opportunities to improve income, customer acquisition, retention, spend per head and overall profitability.
• Play a key role in our expansion plans, supporting new salon openings, relocations, refits, investment projects and opportunities to grow the Kwik Tan estate.
• Shape continuous improvement, challenging existing ways of working and finding smarter, more effective ways to operate.
• Champion the customer experience, ensuring our salons consistently deliver the standards, service and experience our customers expect.
• Lead from the field, spending time across our nationwide estate, coaching teams, understanding local markets and ensuring strategy is genuinely being delivered on the ground.
• Protect our standards, ensuring compliance, responsible tanning, health & safety and operational controls remain at the heart of everything we do.
• Bring insight to the leadership team, providing the Kwik Tan Director with clear recommendations, commercial intelligence and a strong understanding of what is happening across the estate.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced operations leader with a strong track record of:

• Leading multi-site operations.
• Managing and developing field-based teams and leaders.
• Delivering commercial and operational KPIs.
• Using data and insight to improve performance.
• Driving change, continuous improvement and operational standards.
• Managing budgets and understanding the commercial drivers of a business.
• Supporting growth, expansion or new site development.
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Experience within retail, hospitality, leisure, health & beauty or another customer-facing multi-site environment would be highly beneficial.

You’ll also need to be comfortable with a nationwide role, with regular travel across our salon estate and overnight stays as required.
