Lecturer in Automotive (Variable Hours)
Wiltshire College & University Centre – Salisbury Campus

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, automotive engineering, diagnostics, vehicle systems, electrics, hybrid and electric vehicles, or related areas.
Please note: This is a Variable Hours position, with work currently required on Mondays and Wednesdays, subject to curriculum delivery.

What You'll Do
Teach and assess Automotive students
Deliver engaging practical and theoretical sessions
Develop lesson plans and learning materials
Support students' progress, achievement, and employability
Develop students' practical skills and understanding of automotive technologies
Contribute to enrichment, industry visits, and employer engagement
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and professional practice
Work collaboratively to provide an outstanding learner experience
What You'll Bring
Relevant qualification and/or industry experience in an automotive subject
Strong practical and technical knowledge of automotive systems
Experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, diagnostics, engineering, or a related field
A passion for inspiring and supporting learners
Good communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safe and professional working practices
Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential – experienced automotive professionals are encouraged to apply
