The Home

Braefield Nursing Home situated in Connor, Ballymena.Nursing home with maximum of 53 Service Users. Categories of care: - Dementia, Old age not falling within any other category, Past or present alcohol dependence, Physical disability other than sensory impairment, Mental disorder excluding learning disability or dementia, Mental disorder excluding learning disability or dementia – over 65 years, Physical disability other than sensory impairment – over 65 years.

Braefield Court Residential Home a is registered service consisting of seven self contained ground floor apartments. Braefield Court supports adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviours that may challenge. 

 

The Role

You will provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to all functions within the home.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact within the home, dealing with or escalating queries as necessary
  • Create and update resident and employee folders as well as systems, adhering to RQIA standards

You will need:

  • Previous administration experience within a nursing home environment preferable
  • To be organised and able to prioritise a varied and competitive workload
  • To be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to act with discretion when required
