Logistics Finance Administrator (12-Month FTC Maternity Cover)

We're currently seeking a Logistics Finance Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. This role is essential to supporting our UK&I Operations by managing finance processes and compliance within our logistics functions.

Location: NI Office-Based (CRA) Department: Logistics Reporting to: Transport Manager NI 

Purpose of the Role: The Logistics Finance Administrator will collaborate closely with the logistics team and 3PLs across GB and IOI, ensuring all financial transactions comply with Pilgrim’s Europe finance guidelines and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, aiming for zero harm.

  • Monitor, validate, and resolve logistics and distribution invoice pricing queries.

  • Manage Purchase Order Requisition requests and handle goods receipting processes.

  • Consolidate and maintain service provider rates in costing templates.

  • Coordinate invoice resolution via Vendor Invoice Matching (VIM) within SLA parameters.

  • Support the analysis and preparation of logistics finances, budgets, and project tracking.

  • Audit logistics finance data for accuracy and provide reports for service provider reviews.

  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships.

  • Undertake administrative and KPI reporting duties relevant to logistics.

Key Deliverables:

  • SLA compliance for Vendor Invoice Matching (VIM) and Purchase Order Requisition approvals.

  • Timely preparation and analysis of logistics finances for review.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to reconcile data from multiple sources and manage time effectively.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or in teams.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Training in QLIK or other data analysis tools is desirable.
