Day-to-day you will be:

Central Role: As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and implementation of upcoming Security, Data, Cloud, and Network services/projects.

Tiered Support: The Systems Engineering team functions at a 3rd tier support level. However, familiarity in aiding 2nd and 1st tier support is crucial as you'll cater to various clientele within and around the college.

System Enhancement: You'll be instrumental in appraising, designing, developing, and deploying new and updated applications, infrastructure, both on-site and in cloud-based environments.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all IT services align with industry/vendor best practices, adhere to established processes, and meet the agreed-upon KPIs in terms of availability and performance.

Diverse Technology Exposure: This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a multitude of technologies in a security-sensitive backdrop. Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing, designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting key business and infrastructure systems, including applications, operating systems, both physical and virtual servers, network equipment, and more.
  • Collaborating on system or infrastructure architecture throughout the IT solutions suite.
  • Coordinating with various functional domains and vendors for seamless IT solution implementation.
