Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who is looking for a new role in Oldham and the surrounding areas? Do you want to work for an organisation that is committed to delivering a service to be proud of, improving lives, and benefitting local communities?

 

First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting opportunity for a details-focussed individual to join our friendly Finance team and manage FCHO’s purchase ledger and credit control functions. This is a permanent, part time role working 30 hours over no less than four days.

 

You will spend your time processing receipts, registering invoices into the finance system, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth receipt and payment. When you join our Finance team you will play a key role in supporting FCHO’s financial stability and strengthening partnerships with our suppliers.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate:

  • Is educated to GCSE grade C / 4 in mathematics plus 4 other GCSEs at grad Grade C / 4 or above
  • Has a level 2 / 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Has experience of undertaking Purchase ledger work within a finance function.
  • Has experience of the general principles of budgets and budgetary controls
  • Has experience of using computerised financial systems and spreadsheet analysis
  • Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably
